The next day we spent at Mt. Rushmore. We had planned on going for the lighting ceremony the night before, but everyone was just too tired! We took pictures with every combination we could come up with.
We hiked around and then spent some time in the artist's studio. I loved that building! Clint and I both brought it up later wondering if we could recreate a smaller version of it.
That night after I had cleaned Lila up (the girl likes to play in the dirt and gets filthy), I banned her to the tent. She was perfectly happy as long as she could read her book with her headlamp.
